Lemonade Stand
In Lura Village, Malawi on an intersection of two residential paths, fellow artist and Peace Corps volunteer Taylor Hickman and I served lemonade to her neighbors. This common US childhood practice generated both confusion and curiosity, and the performance ends as the novel activity creates a gathering place and experience of cultural exchange.
